WHAT UP! I hope you're all doing well! I've been praying for y'all and hoping you've been doing good! I'm doing so good over here in Cranberry! Just doing the lord's work  This week was actually really good for finding people to teach! On Tuesday, Elder Occon and I were together on an exchange in Butler, and we went to OYM on main street! We ended up getting 8 phone numbers so we could meet again, and placed 5 Books of Mormon! I also bought a dope Nike shirt at a thrift shop on the street while teaching someone about the restoration. lol. I'd say that's multitasking at its finest! But it was really good to go to an area where people are more willing to listen! My area is a lot of working with less active members, and members in general. So that was a really cool experience. Babe of the week! Babe of the week this week was Carly! It was someone Elder Haskell, Elder Lafferty and I found in Freedom! (That's in my area) and we found her on Tuesday, sh...

Elder Cook's Visit!

WHAT UPPPPP! Guys this week has been probably the fastest week of my life! It really is true what they say, "Time flies when you're having fun!" haha I'm having a blast with all the awesome missionaries I'm with and especially all the members around us! It's really cool to see the faith some of these people have! They're teaching me, and helping me grow everyday! So a story about this week that's pretty litty is we went to Wexford on Wednesday, and they have what is called the Gravity Hill. I thought it was fake and a hoax at first, but we went and tried it out and IT WORKS!! So basically what it is... You drive down a little hill to this stop sign, and you put the car in neutral and take your foot off of the break. It seems like you're facing downhill so you should go forward, but you actually go backward! Up the hill! You guys should all look up videos about it, because I know if I send it through gmail, it will get all blurry and not really sho...

Week One in the Field

What up squad! I hate long emails... So I'll try and make this short while including all the best parts! First, my companions! I'm in a trio with the zone leaders, and they're really cool guys! Elder Haskell and Elder Lafferty. Lafferty is from Tucson and he's really good with like machines! He fixed the washer AND the disposal haha. Haskell is from Payson and he's a COWBOY haha he participates competitively in roping, like cows and stuff haha so they're cool. I'm in Cranberry Township, PA and apparently this is the nicest and wealthiest area in the mission haha so I lucked out for my first transfer... But it really is so pretty! It's very green and spacious here, and there are a lot of trees! Only rained 1 day so far haha but it's cloudy most days and I'm kinda used to the humidity already.   We have the biggest ward in the mission too so that's neat. It's just a little bit smaller than the ward back in Orem UT, It's the biggest ward...

Aight guys I know I missed like 2 weeks of emails but I'll get better lol. Currently I have 1 week and 1 day down in the Provo MTC and it's been a vibe.  Everyone always lies about how good the food is, it's awful. DON'T TRUST THEM!!! My first meal in the MTC was meatloaf with carrots in it!  what? Nasty.  My roommates are the best!  Elder Reese (from Cali), Elder Squires (from St. George), Elder Jenkins (from Midway)...they're all lit.   I've met a bunch of dope dudes (elders) and had some good times! Elder Squires has the best freestyle raps I've heard in a minute, and he pretends to be good at singing so it's pretty funny haha. Even though I only get to sing in the choir here at the MTC for 2 weeks, it's a must do, it's sick, really cool!  And Brother Eggett is awesome and teaches a lot of gospel stuff with the music!  Elder Macy is the funniest guy I've ever met in my life and it's so fun saying hi to all the seni...
