One Door Wonder!

Image
Hello everyone! This last week was a great week. Transfers ran very smoothly and everyone got to where they needed to go!  Transfer week is always the most tiring week for some reason.  We do the most amount of office work we ever do and do the least amount of tracting or teaching but it still just drains us.  We had time to knock 1 door on Friday, and the 1 door we knocked was this sweet couple we're going to start teaching! Beef of the Week!: This week Danas mom started feeding her anti material . We called her on Saturday and talked her through some things and she seemed to be okay. She ended up coming to church still and still wants to get baptized this weekend! So exciting! Anyways so the beef is anti.. Babe of the Week!: Obviously it's gotta be Dana! She feeds us every time we go over to teach her and it's always super good! Also she's been KILLING IT with her Word of Wisdom goals! She's been clean for a week and a half now so she's so excited and ready t...

Transfer Week

Hello everyone! I hope your week was as good as mine, if not better!  This week we got to stay in our area the whole week which was nice.  We were supposed to have like 8 friends at church and we knocked on a bunch of their doors before church but no one answered so that was super lame... But we met some really cool people and experienced a lot of miracles! Beef of the Week!: Jimmy Deans sausage... On Thursday night we didn't really have time to cook dinner so I heated up some Jimmy Dean sausages and got food poisoning from it!  Friday was the worst day ever!  But we pushed through and still got the Transfer Boards completed with our Mission President so it ended up being alright. Babe of the Week!: Our boy Jeanluc started talking with us and he's super interested!  He wants to be baptized but doesn't know how to tell his family that he needs to get baptized again by a different church haha.  He's really cool though!  He has a nice crib and he's...

Hey everyone!  I've had a great week visiting some of my past areas going on exchanges!  It was really cool to see everyone I know and love! I really hope each of you have had a great week as well :)  It's crazy to think that I will come home in 6.5 months! It needs to slow down!  This week I wanted to change the format of my gmail a little bit.  I want to share some neat experiences I had this week that helped me feel God's love and know that he is active in our lives!  This last Sunday we stopped by some people's house that had been taught previously.  We weren't greeted with love, and they did not desire for us to be there... After some questions and persistence, we found out they had some false ideas about our church and what we believe and teach.  We were able to help them feel the spirit and desire to continue to learn.  At the beginning we heard them say, "I don't care what you say, you're not going to convert me." and I re...

Ahh! No Time!!

Sorry guys.... Pdays get kind of crazy over here so with my 3 minutes I'll share 2 things. 1. We put our friends Brianne, Matt, and Logan on date for March 11th!  So keep them in your prayers! 2. Time and time again this week I was reminded of the counsel given by Thomas S. Monsen to  "Never let a problem to be solved become greater than a person to be loved." And I really love that. I'm going to try to remember that more often throughout my days and I invite you to as well! You never know the impact you can have on someone's life. Have a great week! -NSJK
