Sacrifices!
Hello! It was an interesting week full of losing my voice, sleeping on air mattresses every night, traveling the mission, driving for a combined 15 hours or so.. Not really my idea of missionary work but it's what we gotta do to help! We traveled a good portion of the mission to go do exchanges with a lot of the elders, and tonight we will drive 4 hours to go kick off zone conference week. Pretty drained but we keep pushing on!
Beef of the Week!: This week I think I'm going to have to give it to the Southside apartment! We went on an exchange there and I swear that place has like black mold or something but I got super sick there like pretty bad. I'm doing much better now but my voice is still recovering lol.
Babe of the Week!: Caity and her family. We found Caity at a parade in Canonsburg and taught her and later taught her again. On our way to her 1st lesson though we had planned to teach the restoration. We were driving there when something just felt wrong about the lesson plan we had so we prayed and asked what we should teach. A distinct impression came to me saying we needed to teach her about ordinances for the dead. We taught it with the restoration and she said she wants to do baptisms for the dead for her loved ones and get sealed to her husband! So we had them come to church, and her husband said he wants to get sealed with her and they love the gospel and she said in her own words, "It fills in the gaps I'm missing in such a profound way." unfortunately they don't live in our area. So we passed them off to the other missionaries and will hope for the best! They have 3 kids and they are serious about wanting to join the Lords kingdom on the earth.
Spiritual Thought!: That was a long Babe of the week with some spiritual stuff in it so I'll just invite each of you to send me your favorite general conference talk, and why it's your favorite! Hopefully you'll read it again too ;)
Friends in Canonsburg!: We don't really have many other friends in Canonsburg because we're always traveling the mission but we'll see what we can do for next week!
I love each of you! Have a Merry Christmas and remember your savior Jesus Christ!!
