uhh...AP?
Hey guys!
Kind of a wild run this week but we had 2 amazing exchanges that went really well and Dashon got in contact with us again and really wants to be baptized on Dec.18th again! So that's super cool. I got a call from my mission president on Saturday and I was really nervous because I thought it was going to have to do with my injury but instead he asked me to be one of his assistants for the rest of my mission! Kind of crazy but we'll figure it out. I got a document with 47 pages worth of my new roles and responsibilities so wish me luck haha. Also we're white washing a new area so neither of us will know anything and I love that!!
Beef of the Week!: I'm super sad that I don't get to stay here for the next transfer... After the success the Lord has been gifting us with, I was excited to see 7 of our friends get baptized next transfer but I always get moved right before my friends get baptized... Oh well..
Babe of the Week!: The Holmes treated us really nice on Thanksgiving! We had lots and lots of food and we had good laughs and definitely some spirit filled conversations which are the best! Sister Holmes' husband is not active at all and I think this was a really good visit for him!
Spiritual Thought!: Elder Yates and I gave talks this Sunday about the Atonement of Jesus Christ so as I was looking for scriptures right before (last minute talks hehe) and I remembered Alma 34:16 and it's one of my favorite scriptures now because it talks about how because of Christ, mercy can satisfy justice.
Homies in Harrisburg!: I'll just share the friends that are on date! Dashon, he is super cool and kinda did a 180 this week after initially saying he was never going to meet again to deciding to push through it all and get baptized! Christina is a trooper... Really tough situation at home but has decided to keep pushing on! John has some word of wisdom issues but is really excited to give them up. Lili comes to church every week and LOVES relief society and is really looking forward to baptism on Dec. 31st. Lamont is a baller that is 11 years old and his mom is a member so that's exciting. Shannon is a stud and has a member friend who is returning to activity so that's exciting and she's also pumped to overcome word of wisdom issues.
I love you all!
Have a fantastic week!
