Let's do it Again!!
What a beautiful week! Our friend Charles was baptised and he is the most pure soul you'll ever meet! Like seriously, he apologizes when he doesn't say, "Yes Sir". Like seriously precious and it was wonderful helping him along his journey here, and we're excited to see how the rest of his journey goes! After we pulled him out of the water (Elder Yates and I were both in the water per request to help.) he looks up after closing his eyes for 5-10 seconds (He was taking it all in) looks us dead in the eyes and says, "Let's do it again!" haha it was amazing!
Beef of the Week!: So when being baptized, you need to wear white underwear or the see through jumpsuits will be a little revealing! We uh forgot to tell that to Charles... So we had to go buy some on SUNDAY to help him! It made me feel so terrible but it had to be done! All ended well.
Babe of the Week!: Bishop Fultz! He called us over and said he needed help with something, and he's a stud so we decided to take some of our dinner time and head over there. When we get there he just hands us this huge box of chicken pot pies and says, "I don't have enough room in my freezer for these and need someone to take it for me." and that was a blessing! He's such a great example of showing Christlike love.
Spiritual Thought!: Hesed: "a unique term describing a covenant relationship in which both parties are bound to be loyal and faithful to each other." -President Russell M. Nelson. He wrote in the magazine, "Liahona" about the Everlasting Covenant in which he teaches us about the Hebrew word, hesed. It can't fully be captured by the English language, and there is no direct translation for it but was often translated to "lovingkindess". We learn that once we enter into a covenant with God, he shows hesed to us, and we reciprocate that hesed back to him. It is a special kind of love, mercy, loyalty, and compassion towards one another and I have been able to see this hesed in my life since I entered into a covenant with God! You should go read President Nelsons talk, "The Everlasting Covenant" in the 2022 Liahona
Homies in Harrisburg!: By the grace of God we were able to put 5 more friends on date this week! Most of them are in December and some in Janurary!
