Pray for a Miracle!

 Hello everyone!

Lots of emotions as I write this gmail.  I just got off the phone with my Mission President not too long ago, and he said that unless I can walk without pain by this Wednesday, the missionary medical group will have to send me home.  When I heard that, it really stung.  Without a miracle, there is no way I'll be able to do that.  Although I am content with whatever the Lord has in store for me, I love this work and I love the people in Pittsburgh too much not to want to stay.  So please, pray.

Beef of the Week!: This last week the 3 rios elders were sick and they got me sick.  Neither of my companions got sick... But I did of course lol so I was struggling this weekend.  I'm definitely feeling better now, but definitely not 100%.  But that's okay because we were able to still work and have some friends at church and find some new friends!

Babe of the Week!: This week I have to attribute it to Dr. Mason. We went to Hershey to get my knee drained so it wouldn't swell or hurt as bad and Dr. Mason has been so amazing as he's helped me through this process.  He's been able to keep me hopeful and give guidance, and help relieve some of the pain!  Thank you Dr. Mason!!

Spiritual Thought!: I was reading in PMG in the "Finding People" section and I really liked some of the ideas it gave.  Here is just 1 of the many things I took from it.  "Church members-including those who are active, returning members, prospective elders, from part-member families, and recent converts-are your best resources for finding people to teach, baptize, and confirm."  I know that the Lord's work will be hastened, but the missionaries can't do it alone.  The BEST way to help the Lord is to get the members involved.  AS MEMBERS... GET INVOLVED!!!

Homies in Oakland!: So although we are a YSA ward, we started teaching Denaishas dad, Phill!  He's awesome and is lowkey pretty interested!  He also came to church!  We haven't had anyone crazy that we're teaching, but the zone I'm in has a lot of baptisms coming up these next few weekends!  So that's exciting!

Until next time!
