The Capitol of Pennsylvania! This week has been fire!  We had transfers and I made it safely here to Harrisburg!  This area makes me really excited to work!   Also, I realized that I never told all of you about my ACL lol.  So my mission president talked with the mission medical coordination people or whatever and I can stay!   (mom note:  Nathan was able to meet the requirements of mission medical..he got his miracle )   So I'm here in Hbg pumped to work!  So let's jump into it! Beef of the Week!:  This week the beef is google translate lol we talk to so many people that speak nepali and arabic!  Not sure why but there are so many of them! Google Translate doesn't always get it right for some reason haha.  I guess not everything is perfect right?  So if anyone speaks Nepali or Arabic let me know! Babe of the Week!:  Charles!  He is a man we're teaching and he wants to be baptized so bad!  His date is N...

Always Late

Always Late This is for last week... But everything has been awesome! We have 5 friends on date here in Oakland which is awesome!  We've been doing great, and I found out I'm going to Harrisburg on Thursday and I'm going to be companions with Elder Dallin Yates!  He went to Skyridge Highschool and he lived in Lehi!  He came out with me just over a year ago and I'm really excited to be with him and experience a new area!  Beef of the Week!:  lowkey my google account (church google account) cuts off my limit of storage at 30 gb and I can't buy more!  Makes me super salty and sad so I haven't been adding photos to the google photos thing but that's okay, we'll figure something out. Babe of the Week!:  Austin!  He's on date for November 6th and he is a stud!  He loves shoes and he loves learning about Jesus!  JUST LIKE ME!  He's super sad I'm leaving but he said one day he'll come visit me in Utah and we'll go to the conference center a...

Pray for a Miracle!

Hello everyone!  Lots of emotions as I write this gmail.  I just got off the phone with my Mission President not too long ago, and he said that unless I can walk without pain by this Wednesday, the missionary medical group will have to send me home.  When I heard that, it really stung.  Without a  miracle , there is no way I'll be able to do that.  Although I am content with whatever the Lord has in store for me, I love this work and I love the people in Pittsburgh too much not to want to stay.  So please,  pray . Beef of the Week!:  This last week the 3 rios elders were sick and they got me sick.  Neither of my companions got sick... But I did of course lol so I was struggling this weekend.  I'm definitely feeling better now, but definitely not 100%.  But that's okay because we were able to still work and have some friends at church and find some new friends! Babe of the Week!:  This week I have to attribute it to ...

You'll Have to Forgive Me and Finally Up to Date

"You'll Have to Forgive Me" Okay so this is for the week of Monday the 26th.  I've been so far behind because I've been going literally insane lol.  My mission has been changed and won't be back to normal!  This gmail is going to be a little different than normal though.  So on September 17th I hurt my knee playing basketball.  We still don't know exactly what is wrong with it and we don't know what the future holds for me and my service.  I have an MRI scheduled for Wednesday so I'm excited to just finally see what the next steps are.  I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve!  Lol.  I wanted to talk about trials and how overcoming them changes us and leads us into a new life.  Trials come at us in all shapes and sizes, but they ALWAYS come, and just when you feel like you've conquered one, you get hit by another.  This is the wonderful pattern called life.  I love the idea that success is when preparation meets opportunity....
