I'm Going to be a DAD!!!

 Hello friends!

Don't worry. I'm not having a literal child... But in missionary language, that means I'm training!  So I will be staying here in Oakland and I'll have a companion named Elder Uchytil.  It's his first transfer as a Zone Leader so I have to teach him how to do that and also we're getting a greenie that is supposed to go to Taiwan but is reassigned here for the time being!  So I kinda get to train 2 different Elders in 2 different ways!!

Beef of the week!: Our teeny tiny apartment... I'm for real when I say IDK how we're going to fit 3 grown men in this apartment and have enough time to all shower and get ready in the morning.  Seriously no idea.  So if you've shared an apartment that has 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom, and 1 living room with 2 other people before plz let me know how to do this..

Babe of the week!: The babe this week is Nae!  We found her on Tuesday and her father was a member of The Church!  She didn't remember much of the Book of Mormon but was really excited to try it out!  So far, she's read a big part of the Book, she loves it, and she came to church and LOVED it and we're gonna meet with her again and she wants to go to institute.  SHE IS AWESOME!!  She's going to get baptized next transfer.  Almost no doubt in my mind she is so prepared.

Spiritual Thought!: This week I wanted to kind of focus on habits or addictions.  As a missionary we work with a lot of people with bad habits or addictions and I wanted to share something I've noticed.  If you love God more then you love that bad habit or addiction, you'll stop doing it.  There is no other explanation.  Figure out when you feel the spirit and when you don't.  If you realize you're not feeling the spirit while doing something, love God enough to stop.  Study about Him, who He is and pray to him.  Gain a relationship and I promise you can overcome anything.

Homies in Oakland!: We had some fire lessons and we've been doing some really solid work!  Shamika is on date for October 2nd!  But she hasn't responded in a couple days so plz pray for her to feel the spirit!  Haoran will hopefully be ready to be baptized in 4 or 5 weeks and hopefully Nae too!  So the work keeps moving forward!!

I love you all!
