Broken Foot

 Yo what's up everyone, my comp just broke his foot today so that was fun.  Spent almost 4 hours in an Urgent Care.  He's a greenie and I feel so bad for him because he's been in the mission field for like 4 days.... But it's okay cuz we bouta grind with it!  I'm just super glad he doesn't have to go home!   Also, if anyone has any questions or anything or any crazy life updates, just hit me up!

Beef of the Week!: My foot... Elder Schlessinger landed on my foot during volleyball so if only my foot wasn't there none of this would've happened!  But it's okay the Lord will strengthen him and this companionship!

Babe of the Week!: My babe this week is Henry Von Rintelen!  He brought his friend JP to church on Sunday and he was super chill!  He plays football for CMU and he wants to ball up with us and take some lessons and come to church again!  So isn't that super fire??  MEMBER WORK IS AMAZING!!  Do it! Invite your friends, help them learn and grow!

Homies in Oakland!: Shamika is still on date but now for Oct. 9th!  And Nae is on for Sep. 25th!  Haoran is good, and we found a new fire friend named Bo!  He came to church and loved it!  He wants to start coming every week!   We've been grinding but with 3 people it's just a lil different.  But we go hard.

Spiritual Thought!: I read this talk but I honestly don't remember the name of the talk but it was fire haha in it I read,  "We do not go to Sabbath meetings to be entertained or even to be instructed.  We go to worship the Lord." -Spencer W. Kimball. It reminded me of our true purpose of going to church and partaking the sacrament!  Not to take instruction, or to even have the community gather together.  But to worship the Lord, and feel the spirit. I invite each of you to remember your purpose of attending church this sunday and see how much of a difference it makes!
