Elder Kirkby *LATE* Weekly Email

 Sup gang!! 

Pretty good week this week.  Had interviews with President and he basically told me I'm staying in Hershey and Elder Rasmussen is leaving, but I don't know how much I believe it because he also said that about all my last areas too... So we'll see what happens!  Also sorry dad I sent you the wrong address and I keep forgetting to tell you.. It's 541 Huxley Dr. Hummelstown, PA. 17036  Thanks bud!

No BABE!!!

This week's thought :) This week I decided not to go with tradition and do a babe and beef and stuff.  Instead I want to share a genuine message with yinz!  This week, one of my studies was dedicated solely to Jacob chapter 5.  If you haven't read it, go read it with the institute student manual because HOLY COW!  It's such a deep, meaningful discourse given by Zenos!  It talks a lot about apostasy and dispensations.  I love how many times throughout the allegory the Lord of the vineyard says, "it grieveth me that I should lose them" (fruit, branches, etc.) and this just really helps me understand my Lord and how deeply he really cares about each of us and how much sorrow it really brings Him when we aren't bringing forth good fruit andHe has no other option but to cast it into the fire. (Not saying he's gonna do that to any of us lol but it's an allegory). Please, please, PLEASE remember how much your Lord and Savior loves you!  Rely on his love and turn to Him for peace!
