Jesus Take the Wheel
Sup guys this week flew by just like the rest of em and turns out I apparently hit 6 months yesterday so that's kinda nutty! Now I just have a sister missionary mission left. This week was somethin else though let me tell ya! Actually I'll just let the Beef and Babe of the week tell ya haha!
Babe of the Week!: So this week we got to meet a cool youth in our ward named Evan. He plays basketball and his dad is very worried for him. Apparently Evan has a hard time understanding why we have some commandments and whatnot so his dad wanted us to talk with him. We had some sweet heart to hearts and I just shared with him my joy in following the commandments of God and how they bless us! We played some basketball and talked and stuff and they wanna start playing all the time now which I'm down for if I get to help the homie out! Just a dawg frfr.
Beef of the Week!: This random snow storm hit on Wednesday which was lame because we were driving an hour and a half to Towanda for District Council and the google maps took us down a weird road we hadn't seen before but we trusted so we went and ended up sliding off the road and totaling the car lol whoops. Elder Eborn and I are okay but we spent the next couple days running errands for it and getting everything situated and stuff for that which was kinda lame but it was aight!
Spiritual thought: 1 Corinthians 10:13 talks about how God will always help us escape temptations that might come our way. I've heard before that there is no temptation that man (and women) can't overcome but I wanna change that to there's no temptation that Man can't overcome with God. He'll always provide a way and I want each of you to go mark that scripture in your scriptures.
Homies in Willy port: The biggest progressing friend we have right now is Arlene. We taught her the Restoration lesson and the Plan of Salvation lesson and after the Plan of Salvation lesson she said, "Wow I would love to be baptized so I can be in the Celestial Kingdom" which is very very cool! We're gonna meet with her this week and let her know what she needs to do to be baptized but I'm excited to see her progress and start to see more blessings in her life! Pray that she'll continue to let the spirit go to work on her!
Much love gang! Until next time!
