4 Areas, 6 Months
What is up everybody? I hope you had a blessed week! It's crazy to think that next week, Monday, I'll have 2/4 General Conferences on my mission, down! Anyways this week was alright. I got transferred to Hershey so I only spent 1 in Williamsport which was sad to me. This area reminds me a lot of my first area, Cranberry. It's a lot of rich people that aren't too receptive to the Gospel. I have a new companion who has lost a little bit of his flame for missionary work, so y'all should pray for him to get that flame back! (Or pray for me to know how to help him lol)
Babe of the Week!: So they recently baptized this 16 year old named DJ and he is very cool. His parents don't support his decision a lot but nonetheless he has a strong testimony. His mom made him read the CES letter.... And it didn't phase him! DON'T READ THE CES LETTER IT'S STUPID!!! Andddd he brought a friend to church yesterday so that's hype!
Beef of the Week!: We stopped by this member's house to introduce ourselves and he opened the door and started to try and hit us while screaming, "I don't want you here, get out of here!!" Lol so that was kinda fun but sad.. I only wonder what he's gone through!!
Spiritual Thought!: This week I read in 1 Corinthians 12 which talks all about spiritual gifts! It was really cool how it compared them to a body. Each spiritual gift we have is used differently and may look different, but they're all necessary when it comes time to use them! I challenge all of yinz to search for spiritual gifts you have and put them to work!!
Homies in Hershey!: So this homie Ryan we just put on date frfr is cool. He's just waiting for some divorce papers to go through so he can get married to the member he's living with and then he'll be baptized hopefully at the end of April! The Purcells I've never met but heard they're sweet and then that's about it... so we'll see what we can do!
