Etch A Sketch

Sup guys another week came and gone! low-key the quote, "Days feel like weeks, and weeks feel like days" is starting to feel more real. It's crazy how fast time flies when you're constantly just working and moving! Honestly so cool that I'm actually out here serving, sometimes it still doesn't even seem real! But this week was nothing too special but was pretty good lol.

Babe of the Week! (Mom... Don't read this one.):This week's babe rightfully belongs to this homie Hasshan! We were walking torwards Linmar Terrace and he rolled his window down and told us we shouldn't go down there because there had been a couple murders recently so we were like ohhh alright haha and didn't go but we started teaching him a little bit about The Book of Mormon and got his phone number! So thank you Hasshan for warning us of the murders lol...

Beef of the Week!: So Sister Dukes has a dog that was running around crazy during our lesson and it was nutty and then it stopped running and barking so we looked over and we just see this homie taking a dump in the kitchen! So I snagged a pic real quick cuz it was hilarious haha but dang dude that dog layed a stinky while we tryna teach! Not cool...

Homies in Beaver!: This week was kinda cruddy.. Dan has an old pastor that got really mad at him for visiting with us and stuff so he told us he doesn't want to talk with us anymore. So that was kinda sad but we just keep praying for him to remember the spirit he felt here with us! Carly and John are still progressing, and we taught Brayden who is 9 and is wanting to be baptized! So we're hoping we can baptize him probably at the end of February! Nothing else has really changed with anyone else so pretty chill!

Spiritual Thought!: In Matthew chapter 7 in the New Testament and in 3 Nephi chapter 14 in the Book of Mormon, it's Jesus Christ teaching people. They are almost word for word. Now if I didn't have a testimony of The Book of Mormon I'd probably think, "Oh Joseph Smith just copied Matthew 7 into The Book of Mormon." But since I do have a strong testimony of it, I was able to realize that God is unchanging. Jesus Christ delivers the SAME message to EVERYONE willing to listen! Although different people might have different experiences, the message never changes. It is always consistent and he wants ALL of us to hear it. So that was pretty cool this week!
