Preaching in Pittsburgh (PPM)

  What's up guys!  It's late, but my mom really wanted a weekly gmail, so here I am typing it out ;) Love ya momma!  I hope you all had a beautiful memorial day, and a good week!  I definitely did!  We had a zone conference and some solid lessons, along with some trials that will be described below... Babe of the Week!:  This week I'm going to have to say the babe award goes to the Chase family!  They're so pure and super cool.  When we went and visited with them, all of the kids wanted to share their talents with us!  So we saw basketball, bow and arrow, trampoline, and cookie baking!  It was definetly a good time and we're going back this Wednesday for dinner  Beef of the Week!:  SOCIAL ANXIETY!!!  This week was rough with Holly.  She decided to opt out of church this Sunday because she freaked out and her social anxiety got to her.  Not only that, but they're re-thinking baptism as a whole... So please please ...

 GUYS!!!  PRAYERS GET ANSWERED!  This week we had a wonderful lesson with Steve and Holly Purcell!  We told them that they needed to stop drinking coffee if they wanted to get baptized.  Right after that Holly said, "Eternal life, or coffee? I choose eternal life."  And Steve jumped right on the train with her!  So they cold turkey quit on Friday!  Excited for them to be baptized on June 4th! Babe of the Week!:  Alma!   What's up everybody! I hit 8 months this last Friday, but I still tell everyone I've been out for 6 because It's just easier haha IDK.  Missionaries understand my reasoning lol but this week was good!  Very stressful but good.  Just some insight into the life of Elder Kirkby, I've been taking cold showers every morning which stunk at first but it's growing on me haha.  I'm actually starting to look forward to it!  Anyways, it's pretty fun lol.  What is up family and friends! This week went by very fast, but a lot of good things happened!  Had a successful transfer and I got my new companion, Elder Hogan!  He's from Layton UT and he's really cool!  This week there have been 3 people that decided they didn't want to hear a message from us, but I felt inspired to ask a specific question to each of them, and that question sparked some amazing conversations which evidently lead to new contacts with some new friends and copies of the Book of Mormon given! Don't discount simple promptings of the spirit, they're hype!   Hello family and friends!  First I just want to give a shoutout to my sister and her new husband!  They got married Friday... BIG HYPE!!  This week was really good!  Went by very quickly, and we got transfer boards on Sunday!  I'm staying here in Hershey and I'm going to be the new DL!  But it's not a Sistrict (only sister missionaries in the district)  anymore because now there are 2 more sets of Elders too!  So that's fun!  Also, I got my photos working, so hopefully yinz can see the pics this week!
