God Be With You Till We Meet Again

Image
Hello everyone!  This is kind of weird... This is the last email I'll send you as a full-time set apart missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!  This has been the most rewarding, beneficial time of my life.  And the best part about it is I wasn't even focused on myself!  There is nothing I would have rather spent these last 2 years doing than serve the Lord.  The coolest experience I've had was this last Sunday.  We had the baptisms of Molly and Jesse!  The Spirit was so strong, and I loved every second of it!  After Jesse received the Gift of the Holy Ghost he said, "Hallelujah I feel the Holy Spirit!"  It was awesome.  I'm excited to see all of my family and friends this week! I want to bare my testimony to all of my faithful fans that read my experiences these last 2 years!  I know that Jesus is the Christ and that He made it possible for me to live with my Father in Heaven.  I know that He lov...

The Gospel Brings Joy and The Power of Positivity

The Gospel Brings Joy (July 17, 2023) What a great week here in Cranberry! The week started off slow, but I had an exchange with THE ONE AND ONLY ELDER YATES!!  I love Elder Yates, and we were in Oakland and I love Oakland so it was a win win.  We had a fire MLC which is always good and then we were blessed to have another baptism on Saturday!  Myriam got baptized!  I'll drop some pics below.  Beef of the Week!:  Caroline, a convert we had when I was in Oakland has this friend that always feeds her anti. I forgot his name, but he makes her question her testimony so much which is so lame.  It also makes it hard to have charity towards him... Babe of the Week!:  Miss Mary Gairdo!  She got me the coolest shirt from Walmart!  She saw it and said it reminded her of me, so she got it.  Also she's the niece of Myriam so that's cool. The Cranberry Crew!:  Miss Molly is like our last friend left that's progressing.  We d...

Twelve Weeks

Hello everyone! I want to start out by saying I LOVE THIS WORK!  I wouldn't want to be anywhere else in the world right now.  This week was a good week.  We did a lot of regular proselyting, but we also did a lot of office work because of Transfers.  I'm going back to Cranberry this Friday with Elder Hepworth to finish off my last 12 weeks!  I'm excited to finish off where I started.  Beef of the Week!:  This week my beef is with Jimmy, Dylan, Xavier, and Zion. (They're really dawgs) they always stay strapped and when we hang up the phone with them they always say "Stay safe" haha I love it.  But they gave their word they would come to church with us and didn't pull up! :/ Babe of the Week!:  This week Shannon is the babe!  She's our neighbor and we helped her move in back in February.  I made her promise me she would come to church with us and she said she'd come!  I told her I was leaving this week and she actuall...

John's Baptism

Hello everyone!  It was a great week here in our own area for the first time in awhile!  We were able to knock doors for a while which was soooo fun!  We went on an exchange in Wexford that was fun because I was with my good friend Elder Slatter!  We had a solid day and it was refreshing :) Beef of the Week!:  This week we were bashed by SO MANY PEOPLE!  It's insane how many people argued with us about the appearance of Jesus Christ and the restored gospel. Definitely had to listen to talks to invite the spirit again... Babe of the Week!:  Dave Bohnak and John Sartori are my babes of this week. John got baptized into our ward this week and Dave is a recent convert who really helped John on his path towards making covenants with God.  It was really cool to see a recent convert who just went through this whole process help someone who wanted to, come closer to Jesus Christ! Homies in Canonsburg!:  We met this super cool woman n...

Simple does NOT Mean Easy

Hello all!  Sorry for not writing an email last week, we were driving across the mission for Zone Conference week.  But it was all good!  It's been a tough week but we got through it and we're ready for more to come! Beef of the Week!:  This week the beef is whatever got Jeannette not interested anymore... We were 4 hours away on the other end of the mission and we had a zoom call with her!  One of our members even joined the lesson in her house so they were together and after the lesson Jeannette just says she doesn't want to meet with us anymore!  She was progressing soooo well!  We don't know what got her and she wouldn't tell us either so that is super sad! Babe of the Week!:  Elder Oliver!  He's a Social Media Coordinator and he traveled the mission with us this last week for Zone Conference and he just made it so fun!  He has a fun language called the "Eldish Language" haha so it's so fun! Spiritual Thought!:  ...

Good Quench'n

I don't really know what the title means, I just asked my companion Elder Hepworth what I should title it and that's what he said.  I think it is interpreted as "Good Question" Lol.. It was a great week!  We had MLC and we all got to drive in the BATTLE BUS!  (The 12 passenger van) and that was really fun.  I had a good exchange too! Beef of the Week!:  There was this time we were teaching this homie on his front door and a dude walked past and I just asked him if he wanted to talk about Jesus Christ and he cussed me out and stormed off.  Another dude walked by, same thing... It was pretty hard to keep my cool and not just roast them but I did it.. Babe of the Week!:  Okay the babe part is actually a result from the beef!  A couple doors down from where this all took place, this wonderful woman named Jeanette saw and heard my interactions with them and said she only let us talk to her because of how I handled those situations.  She said...
